We signed up with Hot Property whilst searching in the Moraira, Calpe, and Javea areas of the North Costa Blanca. We were lucky to be assigned to John Scaplehorn who became our guide to establishing what area would best suit our requirements for location, as well as understanding our brief as to the type of property we were looking for. Despite thinking we knew what we wanted, this changed over the few days we spent with John who used his experience to refine our specifications. Despite not finding a property on our first visit, we stayed in contact with John until we developed a more precise portfolio of properties for our return visit. This time we were successful, and were able to make an offer on our dream villa. At this stage John and Cherry became our mentors for guiding us through the Spanish conveyancing process which did much to alleviate any worries we might have had. I was searching for a holiday home for some friends in the area of Moraira/Benissa Costa, while they were waiting for an opportunity to travel here themselves.
